Membership of the Thomas and Jane Rose Family Society is encouraged for all descendants.Your contribution assists in the maintenance of the oldest timber slab dwelling in Australia, Rose Cottage, and the production of our genealogical records, as descendants of the first family of free settlers in the Colony, and inclusion in our book The Rose Family of the Bellona. It also helps us organise our Family Reunions and Picnics.

Full membership of the Thomas and Jane Rose Family Society is open to anyone who can demonstrate a direct lineage to any of the descendants of Thomas and Jane Rose and/or a descendant's spouse

The membership subscription keeps you involved and also entitles you to a copy of each issue of The Society's bulletin Lore of the Roses (April and September), any other publications produced and you have an open invitation to attend our meetings and contribute to the running of the Society by voting on important issues.

We encourage new ideas as the Society moves into a new decade.

Associate of the Society is available to any other interested persons, should they wish to join.

These interested persons can attend meetings but do not have voting rights

A Genealogical line chart (available here) and Membership Application (available here) must be clearly completed and provided to The Society.
