The building would contain amenities, conference/ display area and a
storage facility for archival material etc. Some preliminary sketches
have been prepared in relation to this project.
While this is seen as a long term costly project it is considered a
necessary addition in view of the uncertain future of the adjacent
Australiana Pioneer Village complex, which has been closed since
17/12/2001.
